May All Be Fed

Bonnie Acker created this lovely artwork. Its message is simple yet profound. “May all be fed” is our mission as we try to fill gaps in getting food to older adults in Chittenden County.

We believe that having enough healthy food is a right. But, so many issues challenge access to food. Income, neighborhoods, age, cultures and nationalities—-any and all of those influence the availability of groceries that are fresh and good for our bodies.

Locally and worldwide, the disparity between who has access and who doesn’t continues to grow. In Vermont, the level of food insecurity has risen, even after the pandemic has waned. Let’s all strive to create a world where all may be fed.
