Springtime Update

Happy Spring! We have some great things happening and want to share an update:

*We’re developing a new program, “HANDS Diverse Pantry”, for which we’ve received funding from Age Well. The pilot project will take place at Winooski Senior Center. HANDS will strive to get fresh food to seniors who are BIPOC (black, indigenous, and people of color) and refugees.

*As COVID wanes, we’ll get back to in-person “HANDS in the Kitchen” workshops with Chef Robin. She’ll share tips on healthy eating as well as samples of delicious food.

We’re looking forward to providing culturally appropriate food to more seniors.
